Beau Geste S.O.A.R. has selected AZUR out of a large number of candidates. His selection is the result of a thorough process. Candidates included horses of all ages, all breeds, and all levels of training in all disciplines. AZUR stood out as a typical horse with a good attitude and a decent conformation. He did not seem to have serious bad training habits. He seemed to be the horse BG was looking for. BG could not find a better prospect. AZUR looks like the horse anyone would love to own to discover riding. This is why BG has selected AZUR to become the star of  most of its animations.

AZUR passed successfully his vet check. His picture with his X-rays are shown to confirm this fact. Over time, BG's supporters will enjoy seeing how AZUR will evolve from his present condition and become a fully mature Freestyle Champion. Over time AZUR's performance will be compared to the videoed accomplishments of some of his stable mates and other famous competitors. AZUR seems sure of himself. We showed him all our videos of performing horses even some doing piaffe. He shook his head and started prancing. What a ham!
First appearance and background

A second look indicates a promising attitude

And, a promising conformation

AZUR is a good prospect to star
in Beau Geste's cast of animated characters

AZUR still looks like a foal with knobby joints, sunken muscles and dished hooves. It seems that he has been broken to the saddle probably in preparation for racing. BG likes to believe
that AZUR was too smart to go for it. His slightly inverted neck indicates that he pulled against ropes. It also shows that he reared against the weight of his jockey and put on a fight when introduced to the starting gate. That's probably when his breeders "accidentally" lost his papers and put him for sale.

Looking beyond the above negative imprints BG spotted AZUR's underlaying promising attitude and conformation. He is alert and smart. He knows who his friends are. He loves attention. AZUR is a real ham. A star in the bud! If he sees a person looking at him right away he shows his best side and adopts his best posture. He'll con you for carrots and settle for a pat on the back. If you don't pay attention to him he'll look in the other direction, bump into you, and turning around AZUR will look at you with a most contrived-contrite-innocent-"who-me?"-look-no-one-can-resist.

With BG's proper care AZUR can become a strong elegant horse. His long sloped pasterns well supported by correct shoeing will give spring to his gaits. His relatively low knees give elevation to his front legs. His well stacked up hind legs joints will be able to engage easily and provide good impulsion. His front and back ends are horizontally coupled by a medium length back securing good balance. Thanks to BG's excellent training his neck and his withers will grow up and out of his shoulders. His ganache is lean and well defined, a prerequisite for good flexions. His ears are mobile and expressive. His eyes are clear. His nostrils open.

AZUR's 3Ds X-Rays will help BG present his evolution and his training in a very realistic animated way. His training will account for his predictable behavior and most known Biomechanical restrictions. His performance will be realistic. Eventually, thanks to multimedia animations and to the help of supporters, BG will be able to design Freestyle for all horses just like it plans to design AZUR's Gold Medal Freestyle performance.
